Who we are

Building Human Resources is led by Joanne Williams, Chartered MCIPD. Joanne’s confidence in her ability - and that of her professional team of specialist associates - is something that transmits to clients, and, in turn, through Our Teamtheir organisations, be that in the public, private or voluntary sectors.

Whether you are an SME with little or no HR support, or a large organisation wanting to source additional HR support for a particular project or on an interim basis, we are the only HR consultancy you should turn to. Joanne Williams Joanne Williams, Chartered MCIPD 

Joanne is a senior Human Resources professional with significant HR expertise. She has a proven track record in facilitating change and organisational development.

Joanne’s main areas of responsibility have encompassed HR strategies, employee relations, change management, training, job evaluation, recruitment, writing policies and procedures, employment legislation, discipline, health & safety, personnel systems, communications and Investors in People.

Joanne has worked on a number of projects such as advising small companies on all aspects of people management. She demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build strong relationships.

 

Lynn TulipLynn Tulip, Chartered MCIPD, PgDIp Guidance & Assessment

Lynn brings unique, high quality, professional recruitment and career management services direct to organisations. Pre-employment assessment and development centres are a speciality and add both value and support to all HR capita decisions. 

From resourcing and recruiting to retaining or releasing, Lynn has a proven record over 15 years, offering customised people management solutions in both public and private sectors, supporting organisations to manage their talent and avoid attrition.

 

Key PeopleElspeth Hayde, Human Resources Consultant

Elspeth is a qualified senior HR professional with over 21 years’ experience in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors. She has been a member of the Senior Management Team in four organisations, operating in changing environments. Elspeth is able to build effective relationships with boards, managers and employees to achieve positive changes at an individual, team and organisation level. Elspeth is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Elspeth enjoys developing and implementing HR strategy, ensuring contribution to corporate goals and stakeholder involvement. She has project managed organisational development initiatives including service redesign, leading to large restructuring projects in several organisations.

As well as advising and supporting Chief Executives, Boards and managers on all employee relations issues, Elspeth has also managed redundancy programmes including rolling out robust performance criteria. She has wide experience of employee communication work in both private sector and voluntary sector organisations and has developed effective face to face and written briefing programmes.
